Greetings Clients, Colleagues, and Friends –

In 1978, I founded Vic Gutman & Associates as a company dedicated to producing exceptional public events. Over the next 45 years, we expanded into servicing non-profit companies through grant writing, fundraising, and consulting. In recent years, the grant-writing and fundraising division has been operating under the capable leadership of Mary Hubl and Shane Pekny, and I am pleased to announce that starting January 2, 2024, they will be forming their own company – VGA Grants & Fundraising – assuming ownership and management of our current grant-writing contracts. Kevin Grubb will also serve on the company’s leadership team. This new company will continue to provide the same outstanding grant-writing and fundraising services our clients currently receive. Please see below for more information about VGA Grants & Fundraising.

I will remain Owner and President of the original company – Vic Gutman & Associates – in 2024. We will continue to manage beloved public events we began, such as the Omaha Summer Arts Festival and the Omaha Farmers Market, as well as other popular community events like the Holiday Lights Festival and the City of Omaha Celebrates America Concert in Memorial Park. In addition, my team and I will continue offering consulting and non-profit fundraising event services, and will also work on developing new projects that serve our mission of an inclusive and vibrant community for all.

Both companies will continue to share a website, resources, and office space at 19th and Farnam streets. Our contact information will remain the same.

I am excited for the future of both Vic Gutman & Associates and VGA Grants & Fundraising as we head into the new year! I know Mary, Shane, and Kevin are looking forward to launching this new chapter, and will continue to lead the best grants/fundraising team in the region.

Please join me in congratulating the new owners and the rest of the VGA Grants & Fundraising team as they embark on this new venture!

Best,

Vic Gutman, President
